Teresa Abel is a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR), South Africa, and a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at MIDRIFT Human Rights Network (HURINET), Kenya. She is an experienced researcher and public policy specialist dedicated to advancing peace, security and social development. She represents young African leaders in continental youth peace networks and high-level roundtables in advancing evidence-based policy advocacy. She is recognized as an alumna of UN-OCT’s Youth Engagement and Empowerment Programme (YEEP), a platform through which she actively contributes to global, regional and national policy dialogues and recommendations.
