Thozama is a 2020 fellow of the Futurelect SADC Public Leadership Programme and a Trauma-Informed Leader through the Center for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation. Thozama holds a Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science and French from the University of the Western Cape, a Postgraduate Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Stellenbosch University, an Honours Degree in Political Science specialising in Transitional Justice at the University of Witwatersrand, and she is an MA candidate in Political Science specialising in Reparations within Transitional Justice processes in Africa at the University of Witwatersrand. Thozama has international experience in LGBTQI+ human rights advocacy, political strategy and intelligence, communications and political campaigns. In 2022 she was elected as the Chairperson of the Bush Radio Board of Directors, Deputy Chairperson of the South African Coalition for Transitional Justice and Deputy Chairperson of the Hate Crimes Working Group; she holds these board positions as the first Black, queer woman.

    Bio: Arnaud Yaliki is a citizen of the Central African Republic and the father of two children. He has a dual background in public law and political science, culminating in a doctorate in law, which he completed at the University of Paris Est Créteil (France). Since 2018, he has served as a faculty member and researcher at the University of Bangui, in the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, where he has built his career. He is the author of several articles and a book. In April 2024, he was sworn in as a Commissioner of the Truth, Justice, Reparation, and Reconciliation Commission. His research focuses on international human rights law, international criminal justice, and transitional justice. In addition to teaching, Arnaud YALIKI has held other positions of responsibility, including Permanent Secretary of the Central African Republic’s Interfaith Platform, legal advisor to Parliament, assistant to the judges of the Constitutional Council, Ambassador, and Chargé de Mission for African Integration and La Francophonie at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Omale PhD is an UNODC Expert in Restorative Justice; a British Chevening Scholar of Criminology; and Professor of Criminology at the Federal University Wukari Taraba State, Nigeria. He was two times Head of Department from 2018-2022 before joining the School of Law and Criminology University of Derby UK  where he is currently teaching Criminology, Restorative Justice Victimology. He holds BSc Psychology (University of Nigeria, Nsukka), MSc Criminology (University of Leicester, UK) and PhD Criminology with specialism in Restorative Justice & Victimology at the Centre for Community and Criminal Justice, De-Montfort University Leicester, England, UK.  He is undoubtedly the first black African to be awarded PhD in Restorative Justice and Victimology.     Dr. Baba G. Jallow is former Executive Secretary of Gambia’s Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC), a position he held from February 2018 to February 2022. He received his Masters in Liberal Studies from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ (2005) and his Ph. D in African History from the University of California at Davis (2011). His research interests include the history of colonial and post-colonial Africa, transitional justice and truth commissions, and negotiation and conflict resolution. Prior to his appointment as Executive Secretary of the TRRC, Dr. Jallow taught African history at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From July 2023 to June 2024, he served as the Inaugural Roger D. Fisher Fellow in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Harvard Law School.
